We really like the new Window and Solar Cool Bronze Sliding Door. The house is much cooler on hot days. No need for outside shades. Thank you for your quality workmanship. The Cascade windows are attractive and appear to be of great quality. They are easy to open, close, lock and unlock. They have really improved the appearance of our home compared to the original windows. We can hardly wait for winter to enjoy much greater warmth and weather tightness compared to the old ones. You and your crew did a fine job of removing the old windows, installing the new windows, sanding and/or replacing weathered sills and trimming out the exteriors. We were pleased how well you all cleaned up at the end of each shift and also how you prioritized the sequence of your work to minimize the disruption to us. We also appreciated how informative all three of you were about what was going to happen next, how the windows were constructed and installed and about some of the maintenance and final touches that we could do.

We recently completed a new home on the Columbia River, The Glass Works was instrumental in providing us with an extensive Glass rail system on our over 300 LF of exterior deck. The glass in the rail system was a special order blue tint glass which really made our project stand out from all of the others in the area. Bill did an awesome job providing us with all of our glass needs, including the installation of the restroom plate glass mirrors, brushed nickel tub enclosures, brushed nickel shower enclosures and several mirrored glass bifolds in the bedrooms. One added feature was a dark smoked glass mirror which we had installed behind the the wet bar. It is evident by the workmanship of the installation that Bill takes a lot of pride in his work, and the best of all was that he was very competitive and helpful during the entire process.

I am writing to tell you what a wonderful job the Glassworks has done on a number of projects I've asked you to do at several different locations. My wife and I are thrilled at the shower enclosure you installed in our downstairs bathroom. It has held up very well and and looks as good as the day it was installed. We are also thrilled with the glass tabletop you made for our kitchen table. It has saved a lot of wear and tear and it looks great with a table cloth under it without the table cloth getting dirty! You also did a fantastic job installing a sliding door for the bath tub in the rental that I manage. The owners were very impressed with how nice it looked for the price. Finally, I appreciate the windows you installed in our church camp dining hall. I got a compliment from a window supplier on how good they looked. He was not surprised when I told him the Glassworks did the installation. As you can tell I've used you for a number of different things on a number of different projects. I do this because I can rely on quality craftsmanship on everything from a cut piece of glass to a shower enclosure at a very reasonable price.

“We recently had The Glassworks install three new
sliding glass doors in place of the ones that were installed about 20
years ago when the house was built. What a difference!
In our old doors the thermal seals were broken,
which led to moisture marks between the panes, plus they were
extremely hard to operate especially the large one downstairs which
was even worse in cold weather as the frame appeared to warp and the
door wanted to come out of the track. After the installers had
removed the old doors they found that when the house was built there
was some plywood that had not been trimmed properly and was
overhanging into the framed opening on two of the doors. After they
trimmed that back they installed the new Cascade sliding doors which
are very nice looking and operate easily. No more going out the front
door to get to the back yard in the winter because the downstairs
slider is jammed up.
We also had them install new double pane glass into
the existing frames for the living room windows which consists of a
large picture window flanked by two single hung units. The thermal
seals had broken in the large piece and it had become so stuck in its
opening that the installers had to break it to get it out. They were
very conscientious in covering everything up and vacuumed the floor
thoroughly after they finished to get up all the little pieces of
glass. There was no way around it, but the extra time they spent on
that window put them off schedule for the rest of the job. They
figured out how to readjust their work load and finished up the doors
and windows with just one more visit.
The new low-e coatings keep our west facing rooms
much cooler.
We are very pleased not only with the quality of
the products they installed in our home, but also with the levels of
professionalism and workmanship displayed by Bill, Miguel, and Jesus
and would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.”

Sorry it has taken me so long to write
but wanted to wait until it was hot to see how our new patio door was
for keeping out the heat. It has been remarkable how much heat it keeps
out our AC doesn't work any where near as hard as it did to keep the
house comfortable. My wife loves the ease of opening and closing the
patio now. The back washroom door has worked out great also.
We really appreciated you coming all this way to do the job. You and
your crew were professional and didn't even know you had been here after
you cleaned up.
